“Depth Perception” is a tropical Caribbean seascape beach fine art painting of shallow clear turquoise water with coral outcroppings and tropical fish. The original painting has sold but is now available as a high quality print.
"As an artist, I continue to train my eyes and brain to see the subtle colors that present themselves in what, at first, seem to be one color. I love to portray the varying blues and greens of shallow crystal-clear turquoise water. As inspiration for this painting, I noticed that my perspective changes as I look out over the water in the distance and then bring my vision down to look at the bottom nearby. The distant water reflects the color of the sky and clouds. My near vision sees through the water to the bottom with its dancing reflections from the sun.
